I hope you are doing well! Investing in your home’s curb appeal is always a good idea, even if you are not planning on selling. Exterior charm gives your home a warm, inviting feeling! Here are some inexpensive ideas to spruce up your property.

Make a Grand Entrance

Your front door makes the first impression as to what’s inside. Put a fresh coat of paint or stain on the front door, and replace old hardware to get started. You can also add a welcoming arrangement of potted plants. Clay pots can be sealed and painted in colors to complement the front door, or you can use stone, wood, or concrete planters for a natural vibe. Strive for symmetry in your presentation, to create harmony and balance.

Create a Seating Area in the Front Yard
Relaxing doesn’t have to be limited to the back yard! Adirondack chairs are designed for lounging, with high backs and wide arms. Choose a cozy spot for two chairs, and use stakes to anchor the chairs in place. Next, dress up the scene with large pillows to fit your color scheme. Add outdoor planters, or plant a row of flowers to accent the space.

Dress Up the Mailbox
If your mailbox is on the street, putting a small garden around it will add curb appeal! Outline the area for your garden. Then, select plants, accent shrubs, or flowering vines that will do well there, based on the soil and sun exposure.
